Everywhere you look, people are trying to convince you to buy things. That’s what makes money.
The premise of marketing is that if you can be convinced that you need something, you will spend your resources on it.
The problem is we’ve been misled. Most of the things we’ve been convinced we need are not actually necessary, and the most valuable things cannot be bought. Family, time, good character and peace of mind to name a few.
