Weekly Reflection
One recurring principle that we've seen throughout the works of not only the Stoics, but several other schools of philosophy, is that everything is in a constant state of change. This observation can be traced all the way back to Heraclitus in 500 BCE, who famously said that no man can step in the same river twice, for both he and the river have changed.
The permanence of change remains just as true today as it was 13.8 billion years ago when the known Universe was conceived by the Big Bang, and it will continue to be for the billions of years to come long after we're gone.
