Weekly Reflection

When it comes to achieving our goals, much of it depends on discipline. But what exactly is discipline? In simplest terms, discipline is the ability to follow rules and have control over yourself. 

Being disciplined means you're able to stay focused on your objective and achieve tasks regardless of how you're feeling. For example, completing your daily workout whether or not you're in the mood. If the goal is important enough for you, then the current state won't matter.

As it turns out, the Stoics were masters of discipline. Despite living in a time of much fewer distractions, they still offer solid advice on how to tune out the trivial and only commit their attention to things that were deserving of it.
