To celebrate the 70th edition of Wednesday Wisdom, let's take it back to the beginning when Stoicism began.
once upon a time in 312 BCE, a Phoenician merchant named Zeno set sail in the Mediterranean Sea with cargo full of Tyrian purple dye.
One day on its voyage, the ship sank, the cargo was lost, and Zeno lost his livelihood. He was devastated.
