One of my favourite philosophers in recent history (20th century) is Alan Watts. He was known for interpreting and popularizing Indian and Chinese traditions of Buddhist, Taoist and Hindu philosophy for a Western audience.
He gave many lectures at universities across the United States, and luckily for us, many of his lectures can be found on YouTube. One of them is the story of the Chinese farmer. Here it goes:
