As most of us know who have been following Stoicism for some time, the most effective way to make a change in your life is through habits. Whether it’s gaining muscle, learning a new language, or prepping for an exam, the best way to maximize the chance of success is to consistently put in work over time.
As Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.” The same rule applies for practicing virtue and aligning yourself with the Stoic principles. With that said, here are four habits of a Stoic mind you can practice anytime, anywhere.
