The Stoic Perspective on...

...Anxiety

Anxiety stems from trying to control the uncontrollable. Especially when trying to avoid negative situations.

Stoics know that it's impossible to do that. Instead, they suggest regularly rehearsing worst case scenarios. Ask yourself: What's the worst that can happen?

Accepting that the worst might happen, and understanding that you'll probably be alright is key to getting through Anxiety.

Stoicism is all about accepting your fate (amor fati), not controlling nor avoiding it.
